Twins designated hitter Byungho Park cleared waivers on Thursday and he was sent outright to Triple-A Rochester.

Byung Ho Park...wife, Ji Yoon Yi...son, Seung Ri Park...attended Seong-Nam High School in Seoul, South Korea...played for South Korean under-18 national team and participated in the World Junior Baseball Championship in Taiwan, helping win the Bronze Medal along with current Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Jung Ho Kang.
