Began his college career at Southwest Mississippi Community College in Summit, Miss., where he earned first team JUCO All-State in 2013...Played two seasons at LSU and was named a first team All-American by D1Baseball.com and earned first team All-SEC honors in 2015...Wife's name is Ariel.

2017

Played with Triple-A Gwinnett and Double-A Mississippi, hitting a combined .270 (85-for-315) with five home runs and 36 RBI over 92 games...Began the year with the M-Braves and hit .306 (37-for-121) in his first 34 games through April and May...Hit .230 (26-for-113) over his final 34 Double-A games...Moved to Triple-A on 7/26 and made his G-Braves debut that day...Finished the season with the G-Braves...Began 1-for-13 (.077) over his first four Triple-A games...Hit .304 (21-for-69) to close out the season...Threw out 31 of a combined 113 (27%) potential base stealers.
