Blue Jays shortstop Aledmys Diaz went 3-for-3 with a homer, a double, three RBIs and two runs scored Tuesday vs. the White Sox, but he was removed in the bottom of the sixth inning because of back spasms.
Troy Tulowitzki won't be making his return to the field any time soon, as the Blue Jays announced on Friday afternoon that the veteran shortstop is scheduled to have surgery on Monday to remove bone spurs from both of his feet.
