Zachary Thomas Granite...2010 graduate of Tottenville High School in Staten Island, NY, the same high school as former Twins pitcher Jason Marquis...named captain for his junior and senior year...was two-time MVP and Advance All-Star...selected to First-Team All-City and chosen to play in the PSAL, CHSAA All-Star game...helped become city champions his senior year with a .360 average, nine RBI and four triples...recorded a .436 average with three RBI, one home run and 14 runs during his junior season...played three seasons for Seton Hall from 2011-13, hitting .299 (189-for-633) with 23 doubles, 10 triples and 53 RBI in 156 career games...named 2013 All-Big East First-Team, 2013 Rawlings/ABCA All-East Region Second-Team and 2012 All-Big East Third-Team...went back to Seton Hall in winter of 2016-17 to earn degree in Criminal Justice.
