The D-backs made a series of roster moves on Tuesday, including optioning No. 15 prospect Jimmie Sherfy to Triple-A Reno, reassigning veteran right-hander Neftali Feliz and catcher Anthony Recker to Minor League camp and releasing veteran left-hander Antonio Bastardo.

James Harold Sherfy...Attended the University of Oregon…owns the Ducks' singleseason (21 in 2013) and career (40) saves record…his 93 strikeouts in 2012 rank third all-time in school history….was a 2013 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) FirstTeam All-American and a 2012-13 First-Team All-Pac 12 selection…was a 2012-13 NCBWA Stopper of the Year Finalist...Is a 2010 graduate of Newbury Park (Calif.) High School...Father, Brad, coached men's golf at UCLA for 7 seasons from 1996-2002, and was an All-American golfer for the Bruins in 1978.
