Reese Jackson McGuire ... Graduated from Kentwood High School in Covington, WA in 2013, where he hit .436 with 13 doubles, three triples, four home runs and 20 RBI in his senior season ... Was rated as the 5th-best position player and 12th-best player overall in the 2013 draft by Baseball America...Was also rated by Baseball America as the second-best "Defensive Player" among high school players eligible in the draft ... Was named the 2012-2013 Gatorade Washington Player-of-the-Year, while also receiving the 2012 Dick Chase Award after helping Team USA's 18-and-under squad defeat Canada and win the gold medal at the IBAF 18U World Championship in Seoul, South Korea in September of 2012 ... His grandfather, Jack McGuire, was a catcher on Duke University's team that made the 1952 College World Series ... Was rated by Baseball America as Toronto's 15th-best prospect entering 2018.

2017
