Graduated from Murrieta Valley (Calif.) High School... Played in the Palomino Pony World Series in San Jose, Calif., finishing with the 2nd-best batting average (.667)... Was a member of the Toyota Academic Team... Played college baseball at St. Mary's College... Was first team All-West Coast Conference in 2011... Left the Gaels after three years ranking among all-time leaders in home runs (29, 3rd), doubles (39, 6th) and RBI (109, 10th)... Recorded the first hit for St. Mary's at their new baseball stadium, Louis Giusto Field, a triple in the 4th inning vs. Southern Utah... He and his wife, Caroline, reside in Seattle, Washington.

Named a Pacific Coast League Post-Season All-Star at Third Base for Memphis (AAA)…was the first Redbird to earn All-PCL Team honors since Brock Peterson in 2013... Won the Pacific Coast League Championship, where he was named Championship Series Most Valuable Player... Was one of only four Redbirds to be active every game... Led the Cardinals organization in home runs (31) and RBI (89), finished 3rd in slugging (.507), T4th in doubles (25), and T7th in runs scored... Ranked 2nd in the PCL in strikeouts (149), 3rd in HR/AB (1/14.71) and T4th in home runs... His 31 home runs were T5th-most among all of Minor League Baseball (tied with Tyler O'Neill and three others), T4th in the PCL, and T5th in Redbirds single-season history... The Redbirds were 25-4 in games in which he homered... Appeared defensively in 113 games at third base and six at first base (five at DH). Led PCL third basemen in fielding percentage (.944), games, total chances (269), putouts (73), assists (181), errors (15), and double plays (26)... Crushed walk-off solo home run in the top of the 13th on Opening Night (4/6) at New Orleans... Joined Paul DeJong as the second of back-to-back blasts on 4/27 vs. Round Rock (off Allen Webster)... Recorded a pair of two-homer efforts: 5/8 at Iowa and 6/29 vs. Oklahoma City... Blasted game-winning grand slam in the 9th inning on 5/8 at Iowa as part of multi-home run day. 2013

Began the season with Peoria (A) and split his time between first and third base...Hit two homers on 4/7 vs. Wisconsin. Blasted two grand slams with Peoria: 4/21 at Kane County & 5/20 vs. Clinton...Transferred to Palm Beach on 8/8 where he finished out the season playing third base in 24 games (DH - 1 game)...Hit in nine-straight, 8/21-29 (13-34, .382) that included four multi-hit games.

Posted a 14-game hit streak 7/19-8/2 at Batavia (A), hitting .385 (20-52)...rated as the Best Infield Arm in
