Holland agrees to join Cardinals

Free-agent closer Greg Holland has agreed to a deal with the Cardinals pending a physical, president of baseball operations John Mozeliak told MLB.com. The one-year contract is for $14 million, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand. MLB Network insider Jon Heyman was first to say a deal was close.
