Gatorade High School Player of the Year in 2011 & 2012...member of Team USA in 2011 which won the Pan American games...led Westview High School to first ever Oregon High School State Championship...attended the same high school as former Indians and Astros outfielder Trevor Crowe...originally signed with the University of Oregon to play baseball...became the highest drafted Oregon native since Steve Bechler by the Balitmore Orioles in 1998...resides in Portland, Oregon.

Played 113 games in his first full season, beginning with 43 games at Peoria (A) and finishing with 70 at State College (SS-A).
