Angels right-hander Nick Tropeano won after allowing six hits and two walks with six strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings Thursday against the Royals.
The Angels activated second baseman Ian Kinsler from the disabled list before Thursday night's game against the Royals as part of a handful of moves. The club also recalled right-hander Nick Tropeano from Triple-A Salt Lake and optioned Ryan Schimpf to Salt Lake.
