Named the O's No. 1 prospect according to Baseball America and Baseball Prospectus following the season. Also named a top 100 overall prospect by MLB.com (20). Rated by Baseball America as having the Best Curveball in the Orioles organization. In nine starts, went a combined 1-3 with a 3.27 ERA (41.1 IP, 15 ER) for Class-A Frederick and Class-A Aberdeen. Was placed on the DL for Class-A Frederick with a right latissimus strain, August 14.
