Was two-time captain at Poly High (Calif.) and was a two-time all-Riverside County selection...played college baseball at the University of Southern California where he earned all-PAC 10 honorable mention during his final year in 2010...played in two Connie Mack World Series while with the Trombley (Calif.) Bears and was named to the All-World Series team in 2005...is a first degree black belt in Karate...resides in Riverside, Calif.

Played in 130 games between Springfield (AA) and Memphis (AAA), starting 115 in left field and six in centerfield...Batted .320 in Springfield through 98 games before a promotion to Memphis on 7/31, where he batted .295 for the rest of the season in 32 games.
