In first full season with Angels, hit .272 (134/493) with 31 doubles, three triples, 17 home runs, 90 runs scored and 58 RBI...After batting .221 (23/104) in his first 28 games, posted a .285 average (111/389) remainder of year...Spent a majority of season batting leadoff for Halos, posting a .281 (126/448) clip in the role with 17 home runs, 86 runs scored and 58 RBI...Became third player (4th occurrence) in franchise history to log 30 doubles and 15 home runs in a single season batting leadoff: Brian Downing in 1982 and Darin Erstad in 1998 and 2000...His 17 home runs were good for seventh most in club history by a Halo leadoff hitter...Angels went 48-13 when he scored a run, including a 36-4 mark after July 1...Was ninth Angels leadoff batter (12th occurrence) to score 85 or more runs in a season (last, Mike Trout in 2012)...Made just one error in 123 starts in right field, establishing a new club record for fewest errors as a right fielder while his .996 was also a new club record by a right fielder (min. 100 GS)...Named a finalist for a Rawlings Gold Glove Award at the right field position...Made his first career Opening Day roster, becoming Club's first home grown Opening Day right fielder since Tim Salmon in 2003...Missed 31 games after leaving April 15 contest with a sprained right ankle.
