Split the season between the Los Angeles Angels and San Diego Padres' systems, combining to hit .238 with 19 doubles, five triples, 10 home runs and 47 RBI in 116 games...In 75 games for Triple-A Salt Lake, hit .247 with 13 doubles, four triples, eight homers and 30 RBI…also played a rehab game with both the Rookie-Level Arizona League Angels and Short-Season Orem...In 41 games with El Paso after being acquired by the Padres on 7/19, hit .219 with six doubles, two homers and 17 RBI...Entered the season rated by Baseball America as being the top prospect in the Angels system.

2013

Spent the entire season with Double-A Arkansas, hitting .274 with 22 doubles, six triples, 17 home runs and 56 RBI in 134 games for the Travelers...Was named a Texas League mid- and post-season All-Star after he finished the season ranked tied for third in hits (139) and fourth in total bases (224)...Following the season, played in 19 games for the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League and was named to the East Division Rising Stars team...Entered the season rated by Baseball America as being the seventh-best prospect in the Angels system.
