Healy will return to team on Monday

After undergoing surgery Wednesday in Philadelphia to remove a bone spur in his right hand, first baseman Ryon Healy will return to the Mariners on Monday when position players are due to report for physical exams.

Healy undergoes surgery on right hand

First baseman Ryon Healy, acquired by the Mariners to fill their first-base vacancy this offseason, underwent surgery on Wednesday to remove a bone spur in his right hand and will be out about four to six weeks, the club announced Thursday.
