Twins option Duffey to Triple-A

The Twins set their 25-man roster, barring any last-minute changes, as they optioned Tyler Duffey and Ryan O'Rourke to Triple-A Rochester, and reassigned Logan Darnell and Brandon Kintzler to Minor League camp on Tuesday.

Logan Reece Darnell...2007 graduate of Goodpasture (TN) High School where he was named Louisville Slugger High School All-American...pitched at the University of Kentucky; was one of eight 2010 Kentucky players or former UK players to be drafted or sign a professional contract in the 2010 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

2014

Named Twins minor league Player of the Week May 26, going 1-1, 0.60 ERA (15.0 IP, 1 ER) with nine hits allowed, one walk and 15 strikeouts in two starts. Named International League Player of the Week June 24, pitching a complete game shutout, allowing four hits, one walk and nine strikeouts June 20 at Erie. Promoted to Triple-A Rochester June 24...made 11 appearances (10 starts), including four quality starts for the Red Wings. Pitched 8.0 scoreless innings August 18 vs. Louisville.
