Full name is John Edward Barbato (pronounced bahr-BAY-toh)…attended Felix Varela High School (Fla.)...Played in the 2009 Under Armour All-America Baseball Game at Wrigley Field.

2015

Split the season between Double-A Trenton and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, combining to go 6-2 with three saves, a 2.67 ERA (67.1IP, 20ER) and 70K in 40 relief appearances...In 14 games with Scranton/WB, went 4-0 with three saves and a 0.36 ERA (25.0IP, 1ER, 26K)...Was added to the Yankees' 40-man roster on 11/20/15.

2014
