Greene set for surgery on artery in shoulder

Tigers right-hander Shane Greene will undergo an operation Thursday morning to repair the circumflex artery in his throwing shoulder, and he will miss the remainder of the season. The pitcher is expected to be ready for Spring Training, according to manager Brad Ausmus.
