Had 24 HR in his first season with the Rays, ty-ing his career high from 2014 (with COL)…established career highs with 36 2B and 63 XBH and played in a career-high 148 games…made 131 starts (69-LF, 61-DH, 1-RF). Sixty-three of his 125 hits (50.4 pct.) went for extra bases, the 2nd-highest ratio in the AL behind BOS David Ortiz (87 of 169, 51.5 pct.)…it was the highest mark by a Ray since Carlos Peña in 2009 (61.9). Had a club-record 22 2B after the All-Star break (prev. 21, Ben Zobrist in 2011 and Julio Lugo in 2005), ranking 4th in the AL behind CLE José Ramirez (25), CWS Melky Cabrera (24) and CLE Jason Kipnis (23)…his 34 XBH in the second half tied for 6th in the AL. His avg. was below .200 as late as June 20 (.198)…over his last 24 games beginning Sep 7, batted .326/.361/.609 (30-for-92) with 8 2B, 6 HR and 16 RBI…this stretch raised his season avg. from .227 to .245. Got the start at DH on Opening Day, April 3 vs. TOR…his home run off Marcus Stroman made him the first to homer on Opening Day in his Rays debut since Eric Hinske in 2008…was one of four players to homer on Opening Day in both 2015 and 2016, joining WAS Bryce Harper, BOS Mookie Betts and COL Nolan Arenado…it was his third straight Opening Day roster and second consecutive start. Batted .300 (6-for-20) with 3 HR and 10 RBI vs. Seattle…on May 9 at SEA, his homer off Félix Hernández snapped Félix's streak of 65.2 homerless innings against the Rays…it was the first homer by a Ray off Hernández since Pat Burrell on Aug 7, 2009 at SEA…on May 11 at SEA, hit his first career grand slam, coming off Taijuan Walker. On June 14 vs. SEA, went 3-for-4 with a homer, triple and 3 RBI, including the game-winning single in the 7th inning…became the first Ray to homer off the During since Carlos Peña on July 29, 2010 vs. DET…the blast measured at 448 feet according to StatCast. Belted 6 HR against the Yankees, a total reached by only three other players in 2016: teammate Brad Miller (7), BAL Mark Trumbo (7) and BOS David Ortiz (6). In his return to Coors Field, July 18-20, he went 6-for-11 with 4 runs…upped his career avg. at Coors to .360 with 24 HR, 88 runs and 79 RBI in 125 games. Had a career-high 3 2B on Aug 26 at HOU. On Aug 28 at HOU, his homer off LH Tony Sipp was his first against a southpaw since Aug 10, 2014 at ARI (Oliver Perez)…he went 158 AB vs. LHP and hit 37 HR vs. RHP in between. On Sep 21 vs. NYY, was part of back-to-back-to-back home runs, following Evan Longoria and Brad Miller against Masahiro Tanaka…it was the third occurrence in Rays history, first since June 24, 2013 vs. TOR (James Loney, Wil Myers, Sam Fuld).

Limited to 65 games for the Rockies due to three trips to the disabled list...twice sidelined by plantar fasciitis in his left foot (May 19-June 10, June 17-July 23) and was on the DL with two fractured ribs Aug 1-Sep 7...still managed to hit over .300 for a second straight season, finishing at .304 (68-for-224)…Since his first major league season (2013), his .299 avg. ranks 7th among major league outfielders (min. 800 PA) and his .534 SLG is tied for 4th (see chart)...over the last 10 years (since 2006), only three other outfielders have matched his .534 SLG over their first three seasons (min. 800 PA): LAA Mike Trout (.544, 2011-13), MIA Giancarlo Stanton (.553, 2010-12) and MIL Ryan Braun (.574, 2007-09) Was Colorado's Opening Day left fielder, his first career Opening Day start...went 2-for-5 with a career-high-tying 4 RBI-a 2-run homer in the 1st inning off Kyle Lohse and 2-run double in the 4th-in a 10-0 win at MIL...became the fourth Rockie to homer in the 1st inning on Opening Day, first since Ian Stewart on April 5, 2010 at MIL (Yovani Gallardo)…Batted .329/.378/.605 (25-for-76) with 5 HR, 15 RBI and 4 2B in 21 games in April...on April 22 vs. SD hit 2 solo homers, off ex-Rays James Shields and Joaquin Benoit, in a 5-4 victory...it was his third career multi-HR game…Started 57 games (53-LF, 2-CF, 2-DH)...13 of those came against lefty starters, equaling his 2014 total despite the injury-shortened season…Hit a career-high .268 (15-for-56) against left-handed pitching...is a career .246/.299/.377 (45-for-183) hitter with 4 HR against lefties, compared to .313/.358/.577 (210-for-671) with 35 HR vs. RHP…Sustained two fractured ribs July 30 at STL diving in LF for a ball hit by Jason Heyward, who he still managed to catch in a rundown between 3B and home...went on the DL two days later with non-displaced fractures and was reinstated Sep 8 at SD…Still managed 30 extra-base hits in 65 games, and has 110 XBH in 265 career games...tallied 10 XBH (6-2B, 4-HR) in his last 10 games-including a game-tying, 9th-inning, 3-run homer in his final at-bat of the season, Oct 4 at SF...the homer off George Kontos helped spark a 7-run 9th inning en route to a 7-3 victory…Hit .395/.446/.697 (15-for-83) with 6 2B, 1 3B, 5 HR, 13 RBI at Coors Field...hit .257/.272/.453 (38-for-148) with 12 2B, 1 3B, 5 HR and 18 RBI on the road.

Was a member of Colorado's Opening Day roster, the first of his career, and spent all but seven days (April 7-13 at Triple-A) on the Rockies active roster...Set career-high marks across the board in 2014, his second season in the Majors, but first full season...career-highs in games (131), at-bats (436), runs (74), hits (136), doubles (27), triples (6), home runs (24), RBI (76), walks (37), batting average (.312), OBP (.364), SLG (.567) and OPS (.931)...Led the Rockies in home runs (24) and extra-base hits (57)...has 80 extra-base hits in his 200 career Major League games...Among Major League players with at least 450 plate appearances in 2014, Dickerson's .931 OPS (.364 OBP, .567 SLG) was the seventh-best mark, and fourth-highest among MLB outfielders, behind only Andrew McCutchen (.952), Giancarlo Stanton (.950) and Mike Trout (.939)...Earned his first career NL Player of the Week Award for the week of Aug. 11-17...hit .393 (11-for-28) with four doubles, three home runs, 11 RBI, six runs and a 1.257 OPS (.400 OBP, .857 SLG)...Crushed game-tying HR into third deck in ninth inning Aug. 23 vs. Miami (33rd all-time into third deck)...finished game in 13th with walkoff single...Had a career-long 12-game hitting streak Aug. 6-17...hit .417 (20-for-48) with five doubles, one triple, four home runs, 17 RBI and 11 runs during the streak...Had at least a .467 slugging percentage in each of the season's six months, including a season-high .673 SLG in May.

His steady ascent up the Rockies organizational chain reached the Majors when he made his MLB debut on 6/22 at WAS, going 2-for-4 with 2 doubles and an RBI...first career hit, extra-base hit and RBI came off former All-Star Dan Haren in his first Major League plate appearance... Began the season at Triple-A, his first stint at the level, and hit .371 (117-for-315) with 21 doubles, 14 triples, 11 home runs, 50 RBI and 60 runs in 75 games...he led the Pacific Coast League in slugging (.632) and was a Post-Season member of the PCL All-Star team... Had two stints in the Majors, 6/21-7/10 and 7/26-end of the season... 22 of his 51 hits went for extra-bases, as he finished his first MLB season with 13 doubles, 5 triples and 5 home runs...
