Resides in Rockwall, TX during the offseason...Participated in the Detroit Tigers Winter Caravan and TigerFest...Attended Vanderbilt university with fellow Tigers prospect Will Clinard in 2012 and led the team with a 3.50 ERA in 27 games....attended Navarro College in 2011 and was a part of the school's Junior College World series Championship team...Saw action in 11 games with Hyannis in the Cape Cod League in 2010, posting a 0-1 record and a 1.66 ERA (21.2IP/4er)...Attended Rockwall (TX) High school where he was first-team all-district in both his junior and senior seasons...Recommended/signed by Harold Zonder for the Tigers.
