Spent entire season with Triple-A Tacoma in Seattle Mariners organization... Finished the year with a 2-5 record and a 3.45 ERA (62.2 IP -24 ER) with four saves in a career-high 48 games (all in relief) for the Rainiers... Ranked second among Tacoma pitchers in games and strikeouts (85) and had the second-most innings pitched among the club's relievers... Finest stretch of season came during 20 appearances from April 20-June 19, where he compiled a 1-1 record with three saves while pitching to a 1.01 ERA (26.2 IP - 3 ER) and registering 39 strikeouts.
