Was acquired by Colorado in exchange for LHP Matt Reynolds on 11/20/12...began the season at Triple-A Colorado Springs and would be named a 2013 Pacific Coast League All-Star... Played in a total of 28 games for the Rockies in 2013, seeing the majority of his time as a pinch-hitter (20 of his 28 games)...hit .263 (5-for-19) with 5 RBI in the pinch... Played in 116 games at Triple-A Colorado Springs, batting .306 (134-for-438) with 29 doubles, 2 triples, 12 home runs, 89 RBI and 74 runs...owned a .814 OPS (.351 OBP, .463 SLG) at Triple-A... Had three separate stints in the Majors with the Rockies, originally being recalled on 4/25...was optioned on 5/5...was recalled again on 8/19 and optioned on 8/27...was recalled for the remainder of the season on 9/3... Started a total of five games for Colorado, three at first base, one at third base and and one in left field... Hit .263 (5-for-19) in his 20 pinch-hit plate appearances...his 20 PH plate appearances were tied for 3rd on the club.
