Thompson has back fractures, X-ray reveals

A recent X-ray revealed that Trayce Thompson's back injury, previously described as irritation, is in fact the result of multiple fractures. The Dodgers outfielder still believes that he will be able to return in September.

Finished the season in the Majors after making his MLB debut on Aug. 4, batting .295 with five home runs and 16 RBI in 44 games with the White Sox. ...
