Mariners add Shaffer, Motter, Pazos in 2 trades

The Mariners acquired Richie Shaffer and Taylor Motter, two versatile players with some Major League experience, from the Rays on Friday in a trade for three Minor League prospects, and they also added hard-throwing southpaw reliever James Pazos from the Yankees in another deal.
