Full name is James Manuel Pazos (pronounced "PAH-zohse")...Played two seasons at the University of San Diego (2011-12)...was named to the 2012 Rawlings All-West Coast Conference First Team...posted a 2.65 ERA (105.1IP, 31ER) in 49 career games (five starts) for the Toreros...played his freshman season (2010) at Chandler-Gilbert Junior College (Ariz.)...Is a 2009 graduate of Highland H.S. (Ariz.), where he earned All-Arizona honors and was named Fiesta Region Pitcher of the Year his senior season... was selected by Tampa Bay in the 40th round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft but did not sign.
