Bryan Mitchell has seen one angle of the replay showing the line drive that drilled him in the nose during Monday night's 8-7 win in 10 innings over the Twins and landed him on the 7-day concussion disabled list Tuesday. "Wow. I'm lucky, for sure," he said Tuesday. "Fortunate to be where I am right now."

Saw his first Major League action, going 0-1 with a 2.45 ERA (11.0IP, 3ER) in three appearances (one start) over four stints with the Yankees (4/20, 7/13, 8/8-10 and 8/15-9/28)…opponents batted .256 (10-for-39, 0HR); LH .313 (5-for-16, 0 HR), RH .217 (5-for-23, 0 HR)…retired 1-of-2 first batters faced in relief…did not inherit a baserunner... Was signed to a Major League contract and selected to the Yankees' 25-man roster on 4/20... Made his Major League debut in 8/10 loss vs. Cleveland, tossing 2.0 scoreless innings (1BB, 2K)…made his only start for the Yankees in the second game of a doubleheader in Baltimore on 9/12, recording the loss (5.0IP, 2ER)...
