Opened his third professional season at Mississippi (AA) and appeared in 35 games before making his Triple-A debut on 7/6. Returned to Mississippi on 8/30 and appeared in two games to finish out the season...Combined to appear in 53 games out of the bullpen, totaling 68.0 innings, 70 strikeouts and 36 walks...Overall, he went 6-6 with a 2.91 ERA...Ranked fourth among Atlanta farmhands in appearances (53) and was fifth in saves (10)...Set career highs in games, innings pitched and strikeouts...Selected to the Southern League (mid-season) All-Star squad...Twice had 3.0-innining (season high) outings, 4/13 at Birmingham and 5/13 vs. Huntsville...Notched three consecutive saves, 6/14-19, allowing two hits over 2.1 innings...Strung together a scoreless streak of 14.0 innings, 5/21-28 (14 H, 4 BB, 14 K)...Made four relief appearances for Yaquis de Obregon of the Mexican Pacific League, allowing three earned runs in 3.1 innings for an 8.10 ERA.
