Kyle Ronald Knudson...2006 graduate of Maple Grove (MN) High School...named First-Team All-State in 2005...four-time All-Conference honoree (2003-06) and three-time All-Area award winner (2004-06)...named honorable mention All-Metro in 2005 and first team All-Metro in 2006...played in Lyons All-Star Game and East-West Showdown...lettered in baseball for five years and was two-year letter winner in football and basketball in 2004-05...attended the University of Minnesota from 2007-10, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Sport Management...was 23rd Golden Gopher to be drafted by the Twins.

2013

Was an invite to Twins spring training and was reassigned to minor league camp March 14...began the season with Single-A Ft. Myers…Hit safely in season-high eight straight games April 10-23, hitting .484 (15-for-31) with two doubles, one home run and seven RBI in that span…Placed on 7-day disabled list May 3 with tendonitis in right ankle/foot; reinstated May 15…Promoted to Double-A New Britain May 28 and caught 16 games before being transferred back to Ft.
