Attended Miami Dade Community College South...Resides in Jacksonville, FL...Signed by Buddy Hernandez. 2010 Entered the 2011 season rated by Baseball America as the organization's 19th-best prospect...The shortstop played at three levels in his second season in the organization: Rome (A), Myrtle Beach (High A) and Mississippi (AA). Hit a combined .262 with 31 doubles, two triples, 15 home runs, 61 RBI and 83 runs scored between the three stops...Began the season with Rome where he hit .261 in 53 games before being promoted to Myrtle Beach on 6/10. In 69 games with MB batted .269 before a late-season promotion to MS on 8/31...Honored by the organization as the Myrtle Beach Player of the Year...Recorded a 10-game hitting streak, 6/10-20, his first 10 games with Myrtle Beach. Hit .409 (18-for-44) during the streak.
