Kyle G. Jensen…graduated from St. Mary's College (CA) where he was twice named to the All-West Coast Conference First Team.


Led all Marlins' Minor Leaguers in home runs (28) and RBI (78) last season... Spent first 70 games of season with Double-A Jacksonville before promotion to Triple-A New Orleans on June 23... Finished ninth in Southern League in home runs (16) for season, despite remaining at NOLA for remainder of year following call-up... Homered in four straight games from June 3-7; final game of streak marked end of a season-long, seven-game hitting streak (.357/10x28, 3 2b, 5 hr, 7 rbi)... Earned Organizational Player of the Month honors for June, batting .277 (26x94) in 25 games between Jacksonville and NOLA. Had 21 runs, eight doubles, 11 home runs and 21 RBI over that span... Also won Southern League Player of the Week honors for June 3-9, batting .350 (7x20) in six games, with two doubles, four homers and six RBI...
