Spent most of the season with AA Jackson with the exception of a six-game (5 starts) stint with Tacoma (April 30-May 26)…began season with Jackson posting a 2-0 record and a 1.21 ERA in 4 starts in April…9 wins combined between Jackson and Tacoma ranked T2nd among Mariners minor leaguers.

2012

Made 23 starts with High Desert before being promoted to Jackson on Aug. 9....his 148 strikeouts combined between High Desert and Jackson led all Mariners farmhands....while with High Desert walked 48 and struck out 121 in 120.1 innings…struck out a season-high 10 batters in 5.2 innings on June 27 vs. Rancho Cucamonga...holds the Mavericks all-time career strikeout record with 251.

2011

Split season between High Desert (April 9-July 31) and Jackson (Aug. 1-end of season), finishing T2nd among all Mariners farmhands with 131 strikeouts…finished 2nd on the High Desert roster with 6 wins, despite only making 20 relief appearances…tied career high with 10 strikeouts, April 30 vs. Rancho Cucamonga (5.2,2,2,2,0,10,HB)…named Southern League Pitcher of the Week, Aug. 29-Sept. 5, after tossing 7.0 no-hit innings Sept. 3 at Jacksonville leaving only after reaching his pitch count at 112 (7.0,0,0,0,4,5).
