Resides in Detroit, MI during the offseason...Is the son of Bruce Fields, the organization's minor league hitting coordinator...Tabbed a second-Team High school All-American by Baseball America after hitting .596 (34x57) with 50 runs scored, five doubles, a triple, 13 home runs, 43 rBI and 30 stolen bases during his senior season at the University of Detroit Jesuit High school in 2009 -- selected the MHSAA Mr. Baseball for the state of Michigan...Recommended/signed by Tom Osowski for the Tigers...Participated in the Tigers Winter Caravan and TigerFest.

2014
