Single...attended St. Petersburg (Fla.) college and the University of Tampa...was named First-Team All-Sunshine State Conference and 2010 South Regional Most Valuable Player. 2011 Combined to hit .246 (100-407) with 22 doubles, nine home runs and 43 RBI in 115 games between class a Kannapolis and class a Winston-Salem...threw out 36.7 percent (51-139) of attempted baserunners between the stops, including 28-68 (41.2 percent) at Winston-Salem...batted .259 (44-170) with two homers and 18 RBI in 47 games with Kannapolis and .236 (56-237) with seven home runs and 25 RBI in 68 games with Winston-Salem...hit .337 (28-83) in 23 home games with the intimidators...went 7-34 (.206) with two homers and four RBI over nine games with the mesa solar sox in the arizona fall league. 2010 Was named team Most Valuable Player at advanced rookie great falls after hitting .329 (79-240) with seven home runs and 43 RBI in his professional debut...was selected to the Pioneer league Postseason allstar team...tied for third in the Pl in doubles (20) and ranked eighth in average...led the voyagers in hits, total bases (122), doubles (20), home runs, RBI and slugging percentage (.508)...was rated by Baseball America as the Best defensive Player and Best late round Pick in the White Sox 2010 draft class...was recommended/ signed by Joe Siers.
