Spent the season at Class A Dayton, where he went 7-8, 4.75 in 26 starts and 1 relief appearance...led the Midwest League in strikeouts, strikeouts-per-9-innings ratio (9.59), walks and wild pitches while ranking T2nd in starts...opponents hit just .220, third-best mark in the MWL...led the Dragons' staff in starts...with 134 strikeouts in 121.1 innings led the staff and ranked fourth among all Reds minor league pitchers...his changeup was rated the best in the organization and best in the Midwest League.
