Split the season between Triple-A Gwinnett and Atlanta, making his MLB debut and going 7-6 with one save and a 4.78 ERA in 23 games, 20 starts for the Braves. Also landed on the 15-day disabled list from 6/27-7/31, and missed 28 games with a left foot contusion…Ranked sixth among NL rookies in wins (7) and innings pitched (116.2). Was one of four NL rookies to toss a complete game, with San Francisco's Chris Heston the only one to throw two. His 20 starts ranked seventh among NL rookies and he became one of 10 Braves pitchers since 1990 to make at least 20 starts in his rookie season…Opened the season with the G-Braves before being recalled on 5/6 and making his MLB debut two days later at WSH. Allowed four runs, earned, in relief while getting one out and a no-decision in a 9-2 loss…Made his first career start 5/20 vs. TB. Received a no-decision in a 2-1 win despite allowing one run, earned, over 5.0 innings with seven strikeouts.
