The Angels made a flurry of transactions before Saturday night's game against the A's, recalling right-handed reliever Akeel Morris and infielder Ryan Schimpf and optioning right-hander Parker Bridwell and infielder Nolan Fontana to Triple-A Salt Lake.
The Angels continued to pare down their roster Thursday, optioning right-handers Parker Bridwell and Nick Tropeano, infielders Kaleb Cowart and Nolan Fontana and catcher Juan Graterol to Triple-A Salt Lake.

After starting the year with Triple-A Salt Lake, made Major League debut with the Angels May 22, starting the game at second base...Tallied first big league hit May 26, a 9th inning solo home run...Was the 14th player in franchise history whose first hit came as a homer...Across two big league stints, went 1-for-9 (.200) with a home run, RBI and stolen base ...
