Joined a major league roster for the first time when he was recalled by Chicago, August 4 of last season ... appeared in 27 games for the Cubs... Has recorded 85 doubles, 40 triples, 23 home runs, 196 RBI and a .365 on-base percentage in 582 career minor league games … has drawn 277 walk compared to 439 strikeouts in 2,507 plate appearances...
