Single...is a 2006 graduate of Chopticon (Md.) High School...selected First-Team All-Conference and Second-Team All-State in 2008...attended St. John's River Community College in Palatka, Fla. 2011 Batted .262 (138-526) with 29 doubles, five triples, 13 home runs, 60 RBI, 75 runs scored and 21 stolen bases in 130 games with Class AA Birmingham...was named to the Southern League Midseason All-Star Team...led the Barons in doubles, runs, extra-base hits (47) and total bases (216)...tied for fifth among Sox farmhands in runs scored, ranked sixth in hits and total bases and tied for sixth in stolen bases...made 66 starts in center field, 52 in left, seven in right and four at designated hitter...hit .306 (85-278) with 19 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 33 RBI and 16 stolen bases during the first half of the season, compared to .214 (53-248) with 10 doubles, two triples, five home runs, 27 RBI and five stolen bases in the second half...played for Mesa in the Arizona Fall League, hitting .274 (32-117) with four home runs, 15 RBI and 23 runs scored in 29 games...entered the season ranked by Baseball America as the No. 8 Prospect in the White Sox organization. 2010 2010: Hit .316 (155-491) with 31 doubles, five triples, 15 home runs and 79 RBI with Class A Winston-Salem ... was selected to the Carolina League mid and postseason All-Star Teams ... finished second in the CL in average, ranked third in hits and fifth in RBI ... ranked third among Sox minor-leaguers in average and extra-base hits (51), fourth in runs (77) and hits, fifth in slugging percentage (.491), RBI and doubles and tied for seventh in home runs ... compiled a 26-game hitting streak (.403, 50-124) from 4/11-5/8, the second-longest in Dash history ... named CL Batter of the Week from 5/3-9 ... was named by Baseball America as the Best Defensive Outfielder in the CL. 2009 2009: Spent the entire season with Class A Kannapolis, hitting . 284 (98-345) with seven home runs, 55 RBI and 56 runs scored in 97 games ... led the Intimidators in average, slugging (.417) and on-base percentage (.342) ... his .284 average ranked ninth among all Sox farmhands. 2008 2008: Made his professional debut with Advanced Rookie Bristol, hitting .273 (50-183) in 49 games ... was signed by Joe Siers.
