Jungmann seeks role as reliever

Right-hander Taylor Jungmann started the Brewers' third game last season but if he makes the cut in 2017, it will have to be out of the bullpen, Counsell said Tuesday.

Name is pronounced "YOUNG-men"...Attended Rogers (TX) High School for three years and then Georgetown (TX) High School...As a senior was named 2008 Texas Player of the Year by Gatorade and Louisville Slugger...Attended the University of Texas.....was selected 2011 Big 12 Conference Pitcher of the Year...Earned First Team All-Big 12 honors and Big 12 All-Academic recognition in 2010 and 2011...Won the 2011 Dick Howser Trophy as the top collegiate player in the country and was a finalist for the 2011 Golden Spikes Award, which is given to the top amateur player in the country ...Was selected to the 2009 College World Series All-Tournament Team...Enjoys video games and reading biographies.
