Played college baseball at Oregon State...threw 41.2 consecutive scoreless innings in 2011, a team record and 5.1 IP shy of Tennessee's Todd Helton, who established the NCAA record of 47 over two years as a relief pitcher...struck out 11 in a complete game effort vs. Creighton in NCAA Regional earning him MVP of the Corvallis Regional...was 2nd team All-American in 2011 and 2nd team All-Region...helped his high school, Ashland, to their first Oregon High School 5A State Championship and was 5A Pitcher of the Year going 13-0 with a 37 inning scoreless streak...was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 40th round of the 2008 draft, but did not sign....resides in Ashland, Oregon.

Made eight starts (9 app.) between Palm Beach (A) and the Gulf Coast League after missing 3-1/2 months with a right forearm strain.
