Attended Colegio Sagrada Familia in Corozal, PR...was selected by Houston in the 35th round of the June 2008 draft and was signed by Astros scout Joey Sola...Received his fourth consecutive invite to Major League Spring Training in 2014...signed to a minor league contract that runs through the 2014 season.

2013

For his third consecutive season, was a NRI at Astros Spring Training...went 3x13 with three RBI in three games for the Astros...split his regular season between Triple A OKC (18g) and Double A Corpus Christi (73g), combining to hit .293 (108x368) with 20 doubles, five homers and 42 RBI...his five home runs in 2013 matched his career total from 2008-12...caught 29 of 63 attempting basestealers (46%) on the season...began the year with the Hooks and was named a Texas League Midseason All-Star...hit .304 (92x303) with 18 doubles, five home runs and 36 RBI in 73 games with Corpus before a promotion to OKC on Aug. 1...finished his year with the RedHawks, hitting .246 (16x65) with six RBI in 18 games...following the season, played for Carolina in the Puerto Rican Winter League, where he hit .254 (15x59) with two doubles and nine RBI in 23 games.
