Nava, Rasmus join crowded Angels disabled list

The Angels' disabled list grew to nine players on Tuesday, with left fielder Daniel Nava and long reliever Cory Rasmus each nursing groin strains that will keep them out a couple of weeks.

May 4, 2016 at 8:27 PM ET

Angels must decide on Ortega or Choi

Daniel Nava remains on track to be activated off the disabled list by Friday, at which point the Angels would have to decide whether to keep outfielder Rafael Ortega or first baseman Ji-Man Choi on their bench.
