Full name TYLER ANDREW HOLT...Single...Graduated from Gainesville (FL) High School in 2007 where he played baseball and football (stand-out corner back/W R) and was named All-State as a sop homore and senior… Was a member of the Spanish Honor Society and National Honor Society in HS...Played three years of baseball at Florida State University from 2008-2010, including trips to the College World Series in 2008 and 2010...Named 2nd team all-America as a sophomore and junior by Collegiate Baseball and Baseball America...Started every game of his collegiate career...As a junior he hit .355 (92-259) w/87 runs, 26 doubles, 13 homers, 48 RBI and 30 steals as a junior and in 2009 as a sophomore hit .401 (95-237) w/87 runs scored...Named second team Freshman All-American by the NCBWA...Hit .371 (33-89) in 22 games with Team USA over the summer of 2009 at the World Baseball Championships in British Columbia .. Enjoys golfing and X box in the off-season.

Split the season between AA Akron, AAA Columbus and spent four different stints with Cleveland in his first taste of Major League action in his fifth professional season ... Led the Indians farm system in steals and was 4th in batting average and 2nd in runs scored.
