Braves plan to call up Bonifacio, option Withrow to Triple-A

In an effort to replenish their bench by reverting back to a 12-man pitching staff, the Braves announced they had purchased Bonifacio's contract from Triple-A Gwinnett and optioned right-handed reliever Chris Withrow to Gwinnett.

The Braves altered the makeup of their bullpen on Sunday, when they recalled right-handed reliever Chris Withrow from Triple-A Gwinnett and informed John Gant that he was being sent to Gwinnett to serve as a starting pitcher.
