Combined at Double-A Bowie and Triple-A Norfolk to bat .275 (112-for-408) with 22 doubles, 1 triple, 11HR, 56RBI and 49R in 113 games… began the season with Bowie and hit safely in his first 10G, batting .372 (16-for-43) in that stretch…was promoted to Norfolk on 5/16 and spent the remainder of the season there… was named the International League's "Player of the Week" on 6/10 after batting .375 (12-for-32) with 3 doubles, 4HR, 11RBI and 8R from 6/13-19… recorded his second career 2-HR game on 6/3 vs. Buffalo and his third on 7/19 at Charlotte…had 3G with at least 4RBI, including 5RBI on 7/13 vs. Charlotte…produced 10-game hitting streaks from 5/31-6/10 (.386, 17-for-44) and from 6/19-29 (.375, 15-for-40)…hit .325 (26-for-80) against LHP and .321 (25-for-78) with RISP…also made a pitching appearance during a 12-2 loss at Charlotte on 8/30, recording 2K in a perfect inning of relief…ranked 10th among Orioles minor league players in batting average… following the regular season, appeared in 67G for the Algodoneros de Guasave of the Mexican Winter League and hit .268 (64-for-239)…ranked among the league leaders in homers (11, T2nd), RBI (41, 3rd) and runs (37, T3rd).
