Appeared in 39 games in relief for Triple-A Toledo, going 4-3 with a 2.15 ERA (15 ER in 62.2 IP) and 65 strikeouts...Ranked among International League leaders in opponents average (5th, .175) and fewest baserunners per 9.0 innings (5th, 9.62)...On the disabled list from July 25-Aug. 1 with right shoulder tendinitis and Aug. 3-30 with a back strain.

Spent the entire season with Triple-A Memphis, going 2-2 with 2 saves, a 4.34 ERA (32 ER in 66.1 IP) and

73 strikeouts in 47 relief appearances...Ranked third among all Pacifi c Coast League relievers in strikeouts per nine innings (9.9)...Signed by Tigers on Nov. 20 as a Minor League free agent.

2011

Combined to go 2-5 with a 6.09 ERA (37 ER in 54.2 IP) in 51 games with Triple-A Columbus (Indians), Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Yankees) and Triple-A Memphis (Cardinals)...Began the season with Columbus…was claimed by the Yankees on May 6…appeared in 2 games with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before being claimed off waivers from the Cardinals on May 16.
