Daniel Robert Schlereth (pronounced "sh-LAIR-eth")....Wife's name is Bree...One daughter; Quinn (1/27/13)...His father Mark, who is currently an NFL analyst and talk show host on ESPN, played 12 seasons in the NFL as an offensive lineman with the Washington Redskins and Denver Broncos and was a part of three Super Bowl champion teams...Underwent left elbow construction surgery following his senior year at Highlands Ranch (CO) High School in 2004...Posted a 3-1 record and 4.56 ERA with seven saves and 64 strikeouts in 23 games as a freshman at the University of Arizona in 2006...Finished 3-1 with a 2.68 ERA, eight saves and 47 strikeouts in 24 apperances (one start) during his sophomore season at the University of Arizona in 2007...Was selected by Oakland in the eighth round of the 2007 First-Year Player Draft but did not sign...Compiled a 2-0 record, 1.81 ERA, one save and 76 strikeouts in 34 appearances at the University of Arizona in 2008.
