Daniel Wayne Rohlfing (pronounced ROLL-fing)...2007 graduate of Oakville (MO) High School...named the Suburban West Conference Player of the Year, First-Team All-State and First-Team All-Conference as a catcher in senior season, batting .486 with three home runs, 27 RBI and a .591 on-base percentage...High School All-American nomination as senior...named First-Team All-Conference as a junior third baseman after batting .386...hit .305 as a sophomore.

Was an invite to Twins spring training; was reassigned to minor league camp March 25 and began the season with Double-A New Britain…Hit .310 (18-for-58) with a .412 on-base percentage in 18 April games…Transferred to Triple-A Rochester May 28 and played in 26 games, hitting .314 (27-for-86) with a .402 on-base percentage; hit safely in 11 of first 12 games and in 15 of first 17...Optioned back to New Britain June 30 and played in 47 games to finish the season…Played 59 games at catcher, 41 in the outfield and seven at first base, between both levels.
