Frey...Graduated from Edwardsville High School in Edwardsville, Ill., in 2004...Played collegiately at the University of Missouri from 2005-07...in 2007, named Big 12 Second-Team. 2009 In his first season at Double-A Mobile, led the league with 134 games and 506 at-bats and ranked fifth with 135 hits...Hit .314 (38-for-121) with 48 RBI with runners in scoring position...Had a pair of 9-game hitting streaks from June 15-24 (.425, 17-for-40) and July 4-16 (.394, 13-for-33)...Over 35 games in August-September, hit .317 (44-for-139) with 6 doubles, 2 triples, 1 home run and 14 RBI. 2008 At Single-A South Bend and Single-A Advanced Visalia, led the organization with 169 hits and 76 walks while ranking second with 37 stolen bases and fifth with a .314 average...At Single-A South Bend, was named to the Midwest League regular season and end of season All-Star teams...At season's end, ranked by Baseball America as the Midwest League's Best Defensive Outfielder...Had a 23-game hitting streak (.354, 35-for-99) from April 9-May 5, the longest streak in the Midwest League and the longest in the organization...Promoted to Single-A Visalia on July 2 and led the Oaks with 5 triples and a .399 on-base percentage...Had a career-high 4 walks on Aug. 20 @ High Desert...Closed the season with a 9-game hit streak (.378, 14-for-37) from Aug. 23-Sept. 1. 2007 At Short-Season A Yakima, led the organization's short-season teams with 48 runs, 76 hits and 6 triples and tied for the lead with 13 stolen bases...Finished fifth in the Northwest League with a .309 batting average...Had a 13-game hitting streak (.352, 19-for-54) from July 15-29...Reached base safely in 25 consecutive games from July 31-Aug. 29, tied for the fifth-longest streak in the league.
