First name is pronounced: Ay-dron...Graduated from Pensacola (Fla.) High School in 2005, where he was primarily a football star...played quarterback and was the Pensacola News-Journal All-Area Offensive Player of the Year producing 2,800 yards of total offense and scoring 25 touchdowns...Went on to attend Mississippi State on a football scholarship as a defensive back...played in five games as a freshman in 2006 and recorded one interception...Transferred to Pensacola State College (JC) to resume his baseball career in 2007... hit .358 with 16 stolen bases before being drafted that season by St. Louis in the 38th round of the June 2007 draft...Signed by Houston to a minor league contract with an invite to Major League Spring Training on Jan. 17, 2014.

Spent most of the season at Triple A Memphis with two stints with St. Louis...recalled from Aug. 1-15 and again on Sept. 1 as a September call]up...appeared in 25 games, and was 4x25 at the plate...all four of his hits came vs. NL Central opponents...went 1x11 with two walks as a pinch-hitter...hit the game-ending RBI single on Aug. 13 vs. PIT, scoring Jon Jay with one out in the 14th...batted .252 with eight HR, 43 RBI & 16 SB at Triple A Memphis...tallied 22 multi-hit games...had a hot July, batting .354 (29x82) with four HR and 16 RBI.

2012 Spent most of the season at Triple-A Memphis and had two stints with St. Louis. First recalled to St. Louis on 5/18-6/21. Made his first career start on 5/22 vs.SD. Recalled for a second time on 9/4 until the end of the season. Had a season high hit-streak of three games from 6/3-5 (4-9, .444, 3B, 3 RBI), in two starts (6/3-4) and AB off the bench. Made eight starts for St. Louis, six in CF and one each in LF and RF. Went 2-for-13 for STL as a pinch hitter. Had his first career MLB stolen base 9/22 at CHI as pinch runner in the 9th. Also stole a base in his start 10/3 vs. CIN. At Memphis batted .319 with 3 HR and 44 RBI in 96 games. Had 30 multi-hit games, batted .413 with RISP and tied for Memphis' team lead with 51 walks. His 114 hits were 3rd-most on the team. Hit .306 vs. LHP and .324 vs. RHP while at Memphis.
